Whose Report Shall I Believe (Round 12)

Three months later after the passing out incidents, I have come to endure a complete loss of hair and persistent neuropathy pain which finally has begun to taper down. Due to the difficulty of eating at some points in my journey, my weight plundered. At the beginning of this battle, my weight was around 210 lbs, when my eating habits were at their worse I fell even lower than 165 lbs. This was the first time I began to temporarily lose faith as I allowed my mind to somehow believe my end of days was near. That em

pty feeling was short-lived as I began to force myself to eat and slowly my weight would begin to increase.

On a recent doctor's visit, I received news that sent shivers down my spine. Remission. Oh, sweet remission. Thank you, God! In less than 10 months, my lab results yielded no signs of multiple myeloma. This serial killer has been defeated. Or at the very least, it has run into hiding. Whose report shall I believe the report of the Lord. Glory to God and his faithful servants, who have allowed God to use their hands and minds to see me through. Also, shoutout to all my prayer warriors who help keep me on God's mind.

This is a victory that I don’t take lightly as the Multiple Myeloma serial killer has victimized so many to note some public figures:

Mark Lenard aka Doctor Spark from Star Trek, October 15, 1924 – November 22, 1996.

William Henry Rorke (October 23, 1910 – August 19, 1987), Colonel Alfred E. Bellows, I Dream of Jeannie.

Sam Walton founded Walmart. On April 5, 1992, he died as the result of multiple myeloma at the age of 74.

Roy Scheider was the actor "Jaws." He was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2004 and received a bone marrow transplant the following year. On February 10, 2008, he died as a result of the disease at the age of 75.

Colin Luther Powell (April 5, 1937 – October 18, 2021) four-star general who served as the 65th United States secretary of state from 2001 to 2005.

Post-transplant does continue to have its challenges. The stem cell process strips the body of all its previous vaccinations including those normally received as a child such as measles and chickenpox. Therefore, my immune system can easily be compromised. The common cold reacts to me like an infectious disease now. This cop optimization requires a certain level of restriction such as staying away from foods known to carry bacteria, being away from pets, and being out in public with a protective mask. My independence suddenly becomes dependent when linked with my now fragile bones, and the surgeries I received earlier on in this fight (spinal infusion and Hip infusion). Although I have come a long way from my initial shoulder arm pain and hiccups some residuals remind me of the realness of my battle with a serial killer.

Yet by the grace of God, I am still here!
